Project Description:

Eleonóra is a clinical doctor and PhD student at Department of Periodontology, Semmelweis University, also participating in the 24-month clinical PhD fellowship programme. She is currently working in a meta-analysis about the safety and efficacy of autogenous tooth bone graft, a graft with great osteoinductive and osteoconductive properties and easy and rapid workflow, giving the patient cost and time-efficiency. Her second project is also a metaanalysis about the comparison of non-particulated and particulated graft materials for alveolar ridge preservation. She is also planning to establish a prospective randomized clinical trial comparing 3 different alveolar ridge preservation techniques. Theses studies aim to further investigate novel graft materials that can achieve better healing results. Eleonóra is also taking part in the education of dental students on the Department of Periodontology in Hungarian, English and German language.
