Project Description:

Eszter Gulyás is a clinical hospital pharmacist at the University Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Administration of Semmelweis University. Her main topic is therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of antibiotics in critically ill patients. Her first project will be a metaanalysis about the therapeutic drug monitoring of beta-lactam antibiotics and its relation to PK/PD target attainment and to clinical outcomes. Eszter’s second project will be to develop an analytical method for the TDM of colistin and to conduct its pharmacokinetic examination and clinical validation.
