Bognar Sára is a certified psychologist currently working at the Department for Pancreatic Diseases within the Semmelweis University Transplant Clinic. Her main area of research is the psychological burden in patients with cancer. Her first project will be a systematic review and meta-analysis investigating the effect of psychological interventions on quality of life and survival in patients with cancer. The results of her study could help to achieve an improved quality of life in patients with cancer, but also to achieve prolonged survival in some of the cancer cases. Her second project is a prevalence meta-analysis evaluating the psychological burden of patients with pancreatic cancer. She aims to identify the degree of psychological burden in patients with PC.
