About the CEPD
Semmelweis University was the first to seize the opportunity to establish the Centre of Excellence for Pancreatic Diseases, with a vision, mission and objectives that are ambitious and offer a major opportunity for patients, doctors and pharmaceutical companies in the region. Each of the institutes and clinics of Semmelweis University already has the expertise needed to provide quality care to pancreatic patients, so the coordinated operation of these specialists in a single centre offers an excellent opportunity to further develop Hungarian pancreatology. The highly qualified, internationally renowned teaching, research and clinical team at our disposal, supported by the facilities of Semmelweis University, can create every chance for the HPSG to become an internationally recognised centre of excellence and, hence, a leading centre.
