Our mission: Science to Society
The goal of the Translational Medicine Network is to bring the latest scientific results to patients, clinicians, and society as quickly as possible—putting the “Science to Society” principle into practice. We believe science gains real value when it delivers tangible improvements in people’s lives.
The Network is coordinated by the Translational Medicine Foundation (TMA), which provides financial, organizational, and IT support. The collaboration is powered by dedicated people affiliated with three universities: Semmelweis University, the University of Szeged, and the University of Vienna.
What makes us unique?
Our foundation is multidisciplinary collaboration: biostatisticians, physicians, lawyers, IT specialists, AI experts, patient coordinators, and communications professionals work together with one goal—to translate research results into clinical practice quickly, clearly, and effectively.
Training is based on a unified educational framework developed by TMA and the National Biomedical Foundation (NOA), implemented by our partner universities.
Who we work with
We maintain extensive collaborations with hospitals in Hungary and abroad, enabling students to apply scientific results in real clinical environments. Our partner network is continuously growing—the list of participating institutions is available here.
