How to apply for our Translational Medicine PhD programme?

The Translational Medicine PhD Programme (TMPhDP) aims to provide the opportunity to pursue medical training and research work simultaneously, with protected time for both activities during working hours.
 

The programme is open to anyone who:
1) a recent graduate in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, dietetics, etc., (MA, DMD degree holder).
2) already in some kind of medical or other professional training.
3) already qualified as a medical specialist.

The main expected areas of research are:

  • Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care, Cardiology
  • Infectology and COVID-19
  • Dentisry
  • Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Dietetics
  • Pediatrics
  • Pharmacy, Naturopathy
  • Gynaecology, Urology, Nephrology
  • Neurology, Psychiatry, Psychology
  • Surgery, Orthopaedics, Traumatology

Students in the 1st year of the TMPhDP in any of the training types must be able to spend at least 32 hours (4 days) per week on PhD training. After year 1, the weekly academic work may be reduced to a minimum of 8 hours (1 day)/week.
