She is a motivated team player who maintains a positive atmosphere at CTM. Her hard work and effective leadership have been vital in managing many administrative tasks alongside her team, ensuring smooth operations and continued success. In December, Henriett Vácz was named Translational Medicine Staff Member of the Month.
Henriett Vácz joined CTM one and a half years ago as a Secretarial Expert (HR & Personnel). Although she has been working in the human resources field for 10 years, the healthcare sector was new to her. „I started my career in the heavy truck industry, at a company where I was responsible for HR in Hungary. After five years, I moved to the United States for a year, and after returning home, I worked in IT as an HR specialist.” Henriett then changed her focus and started working as a user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designer. In digital design, UI refers to the interactivity, look, and feel of a product screen or webpage, while UX covers the users’ overall experience with the product or website.
Although Henriett started working as a Secretarial Expert when she joined CTM, her responsibilities have increased since then. Last September, she was appointed Head of Secretariat. “Colleagues come to me with all their personnel questions. For example, they let me know if they want to hire someone for CTM, and they also let me know if someone wants to resign. In such cases, I prepare the necessary contracts and other documents. I also handle the paperwork for holidays and annual medical check-ups. In addition to HR tasks, I deal with financial accounts. In my job, it's also important to be aware of everyone's responsibilities and to be able to help when needed. And I also try to help my colleagues at events. What I like most about my job is that I can work with people. It makes me happy when colleagues come to us with questions, and we can help them solve their problems.”
