Semmelweis University’s history began more than 250 years ago, in 1769. Today, it stands as one of the leading medical and health sciences universities in Central Europe. Recognizing the immense potential of translational medicine, the University launched the program in 2021 with over 90 students. Since then, it has grown rapidly to nearly 400 participants. This dynamic expansion reflects both the program’s high quality and the University’s dedication to integrating education, research, and clinical care into one internationally recognized system.
