The first Centre for Translational Medicine in Hungary was established at the University of Pécs (UP) in January 2016 under the leadership of Professor Péter Hegyi. With the support of the Translational Medicine Foundation, UP created a strong professional base for research, education, and patient care. The program integrates diverse disciplines including biostatistics, IT, artificial intelligence, and communication to bridge basic and clinical sciences.
