Currently, he is working on a meta-analysis examining the effect of trichomonas infection on cervical carcinogenesis. He is also a co-investigator in a meta-analysis that evaluates preterm birth and possible screening methods. Balázs's second project is another meta-analysis that investigates the efficacy of topical imiquimod on the reduction of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Cervical cancer has a significant burden on society, therefore Balázs aims to prevent cervical neoplasia.
