Project Description:
Eszter is a PhD student at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. She is currently working on two meta-analyses on the role of vaginal infection in preterm birth and premature rupture of membranes. The first meta-analysis aims to investigate the efficacy of the regular screening of the vaginal flora during pregnancy to reduce the rate of preterm birth. She recently started the second meta-analysis, examining the efficacy of the treatment of the abnormal vaginal flora during pregnancy to reduce the rate of preterm birth.
